ABOUT THE TEAM:

We are a team of a fast-growing social app and closed a series-B round of funding last year. ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an iOS Engineer you will be responsible for developing applications (‘apps’) for Apple devices (iOS) and get them into the Apps Store. You will work as part of a team to define, design and implement features in the application. You will identify and correct deficiencies and fix errors in codes that show as bugs.

We’re looking for an outstanding iOS Engineer to join our team in London! You will work remotely, temporarily due to COVID-19.

ABOUT THE APP:

It is a social app for the new gen and the main functions are messaging and making stories (camera). Users are mostly the new Generation group and it is available on Android and Apple app store. The app is available only in English.

What you’ll do/Responsibility

  • Implement world-class user experiences by collaborating with the design and product teams
  • Conceptualize, develop, and launch new features
  • Evaluate trade-offs to iterate quickly while not compromising on stability and quality
  • Work with the Design team to hone in on the best UI and infrastructure practices
  • Continually improve app performance while also maintaining excellent code quality
  • Write unit and functional tests to ensure the ongoing quality of our mobile apps

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Writes performant, clear, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Fluent in Objective-C
  • Writes performant, clear, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Proficiency with multithreading and performance optimization techniques for iOS
  • Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms and data structures) and problem-solving skills

Minimum qualification:

  • BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent years of experience
  • 3+ years of iOS development experience in a team setting on a shipped app in the App Store.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Are familiar with popular social applications
  • Experience with Swift
  • Experience with C/C++
